Blogging….
I may be traveling here in the near future… so I’m loading up blogs to post in my absence. I probably won’t have internet access while I’m gone. I’ll let you know my plans when they are confirmed.
For those concerned…
And no, I’m not planning on getting a job any time soon. And no, I am not worried about money. And no, I am not looking for a job. And no, I am not worried about being out of the job market. And no, I don’t have to pack up my things and share living quarters with Ami.. yet..
And yes, it’s none of your business really. And yes, I know I can’t do this forever. And yes, I know there is no money in the horse industry unless you are already loaded.
And yes, I am very happy. Thanks for not asking THAT question.
Oh yeah… and a sincere thanks to those (4) friends, (2) family members and (1) boss / (1) boss’s assistant who have expressed support and happiness that I am where I am.

Crystal, don’t be so defensive. You’re doing what YOU want to do right now, it doesn’t involve anyone else, it doesn’t affect anyone else. You don’t have to explain yourself to anyone. If you’ve got enough money saved up so that you won’t be totally broke, I say keep doing what you’re doing. Don’t get a “real” job until you must; enjoy what you’re doing now while it lasts. Don’t focus on what some people say or don’t say about what you’re doing now, focus on what an amazing opportunity you’re getting. These things don’t happen to most people, you’re very lucky. Focus on that, and ignore all the negative commentary/questions. If you do that you can enjoy the experience that much more and get everything you can out of it. I wish you luck in all your new learnings.

thanks guys. I should change that to add “and 2 internet blogger friends”
that definitely is not directed at everyone… I wans’t being defensive as much as being sarcastic.
People in my life (and I have had this problem alot…) seem to feel its’ their job to give me their opinion on what I do and should do.
It gets irritating.
What I really love that is people think I am playing pretend and I’m just messing around all day. They have no idea how hard I WORK.
Also, it’s about that time that I REALLY need to change my password.

Why isn’t what you’re currently doing considered a “real job”?! Who decides that, other than yourself? I think if you are doing what you love to do in life, then you are better off than the majority of folks who just work for a paycheck…..keep it up. You are the only person that gets to make decisions about your happiness in life.
