you ever had a good day creep up on you when you least expect it?

Today was one of those days.

4 things happened.

1st thing - Ami’s breeder came out and gave me a photo book with Ami baby pictures. omigod! He was so fricking adorable. There are tons of pictures and it was organized with dates and in a little book that says ‘un ami’ and everything. It means the world to me. I cried in front of the breeder.

Everyone knows what I went through with trying to find out Cook’s history. It has been so different with Ami. The breeders and I email back and forth - I send pictures and updates. They sent an email of support and encouragement after I found out Ami’s diagnosis. I am so happy that Ami came from a place of love and was so well taken care of.

2nd - An owner who had a horse in training with us (horse went home) sent me a thank you note today. She sent me $25 and thanked me for taking care of her horse, for keeping him clipped and mane pulled. The thank you card was a picture of her horse as a baby. LOVED IT. So nice when people appreciate you.

3rd - and this is the MOST AWESOME THING. One of the owners that is there with 2 horses got me a present as a ‘get-well’ present for Ami. It is a dressage show pad with a dressage horse on it and “Un Ami” under it. IT IS soooooooo gorgeous. I cried at that too.

4th - MOE’S has margaritas!!! and they are awesome! and I had one at lunch!

Eric called me and we were talking about HY, the girl I talked about previously as having a “Cook”. Told him about how it meant alot to me for someone to really understand… I cried when I was telling him. We chatted about Cook’s history.
