255 - monday
Good day. Tacked for B. Rode some ponies. Took care of some horses, including one that threw a shoe and then stepped on the clip.

Gonna try and get there early tomorrow. Ride some sets. Then I have to go to Triangle Horse Sports to get a bunch of crap we need.

you know its’ funny - never worked around big hroses like I do now. we have TWO horses under 16 hands. TWO!

lol that’s hilarous. I had never worked with ponies until I went to Raleigh. In fact, I used to didn’t like ponies! Love ‘em now. If I had a bit more land, I’d get me one for a lesson pony. Know of a great one for sale right now…ah well. I’ve always liked the big horses, the bigger the better. BUT I trail ride a lot, you know, and smaller horses are such an asset on the trail! Especially if you have to get on and off - SO much easier!

yeah cook was only 15 hands. so it was quite a difference to get used to… but I’m adjusting now. We average prolly around 16.2
