Sunday Recovery from Horse Show Hangover

ok I have new fave song. Walk Away by Kelly Clarkson.

I’m looking for attention
Not another question
Should you stay or should you go?
Well, if you don’t have the answer
Why you still standin’ here?

Ha! that’s about every guy I dated. :-)

Speaking of ex’s, I found out that an ex of mine is having a baby*. This makes me smile. All I could tell Rich was “Really? Interesting.**” I’m really happy for him because I know he will be an excellent father. It does however snap me back to the fact that Rich and I are a lil behind the times in our age group. I still want 2 years before I have my first… daughter. (I’m now convinced I’m destined to have a daughter since T had a son… it’s bizarro world!). I was standing with T in the hallway at work last Friday when a guy asked when I was going to start ‘popping out some’ (I believe, his exact words). I told him I did have a baby. She weighs 1000 lbs. :-)

Well prolly more like 900. whatever.

* Cam, it’s the ex we grew up with that still visits my mom.

**Interesting is my word of the year. I reserve it for situations where I am intrigued or puzzled over ones’ actions… or inactions. I say it prolly 200 times a day. No lie.

Thanks Lauren, for letting me borrow Elvis’s reins for yesterday’s show. Since Cook and E are married, it was the “Something borrowed” that gave us good luck.

Crys your mom said you guys did well even though she was not able to attend she was thinking of you.
We talked over the b’games and decided that we have some how come up short on the end of being pampered.
So for all of the rest of my family who have not been down the road less traveled I am blessing them with the pampering dust ******* something like the tooth fairy ***sprinkle sprinkle****** may you be pampered from this day forward.
Thanks for the updates of your stables and the family and friends and Cook’s whole company of roommates.
    Congrats on the show!!!!
