So I don’t have much to say tonight except I know some really cute kids. REALLY cute kids. So I already posted John a few posts ago, but below is a pretty dern cute rooster named Addie and a Super Hero Montgomery.

So this morning I did the barn. Non-eventful. Rode Cook with Alexis. She was back to her A+ self. Listening very well. However, she seems the wee-est bit off on the right lead canter. She still has a bump on the top of her fetlock so not sure if that’s it or if it’s her hocks or what. I bought her a supplement today so we will see if that helps any. We’ll see. I wanna show her on Saturday but it’s all iffy. I want her to be 100%. We can prolly go and flat still.

So - switching topics again…. watching the new season of Intervention. This show is really sad, but it’s like watching a train wreck, u can’t take ur eyes off of it. This episode is about a underage heroin addict.

So I rode Cook this afternoon with Lauren U. and Elvis, Lauren W. and Apogee, and Taylor and Emily. Cook was… eh… less than perfect. She was spooky at these cavaletti blocks and it was getting on my nerves. She was also just spooky cause it was windy and a squirrel was running on the top of the adjoining ring fence. All REALLY stupid stuff and she should have been less jumpy and nervous. But sigh. it’s the way of horses. She’s 99% perfect so I have no room complaining.

So I’m sitting here watching Interview with a Vampire. I really love this movie. I love Kirsten Dunst in this. She’s so perfect in this role as Claudia. It’s one of those movies that u can just flip to at any time and re-watch and re-watch.

MAN!  I am SOOOO glad it’s Friday!  I know I had a short week this week but still… 

So today was un-eventful.  Eric is hitting the casinos in Lake Charles to play a lil poker tourney with a friend.  Hopefully he wins big time!    Cmon royale flush!  5K might get me a GPA!  But I miss him.  Aww. 

So basically I came home and start doing house chores… all while dancing around to "My Humps"  that song is so fricking funny!  Love Fergie!

So i’m still obsessed with Anna Nalick’s CD.  I think it’s my personal mission to get her name out there.  I just think she’s the greatest singer / songwriter.  I dont know any other album that I listen to all the way through.  I truly love / like every song on there. I’ve given it out to all my friends.  sigh.  still no one knows her. what I think was funny was when we saw her in concert, she talked about wanting to hang out with Sheryl Crow and looking up to her.  Funny cause I like HER like she likes Sheryl Crow.  I like Sheryl Crow but if I had a choice I would choose Anna any day.

I gotta see if I can get any of her stuff live.  gotta remember to ask eric that.  

 so on other topics, i’m moody today.   worried about what long term treatments we are going to do for Cook’s hocks.  I’m really glad that tomorrow is Friday.  I plan on just RIDING RIDING on saturday!  then on Sunday I have to do barn in the AM and then I can ride and spend time with Cook.  She needs a bath BAD.  B-A-D. 

I rode Cook tonight.  She was good but a lil on the fresh side.  I didn’t have the time or the energy really warm her up well and get it out of her.  I have a feeling that Friday’s ride will be like that as well and it won’t be until Saturday that I can get her right again.  She’s just had alot of days off so we have to get back into the swing of things.  

 My booty needs to be in bed.  Nite all.  Sleep is ur friend. 

I posted folders of pics in the gallery.  this should allow me to easier get pics out to people that I take at different events.

The ones I have added are 2 shows (MacNair’s and the State Fair - both of which I didn’t show at but went to) and Richard’s 3Gun Shooting Match.  The State Fair photos are sparse cause I took mostly video.

So first off, gotta tell u about my flight.

 Got there late.  Wouldn’t allow me to check my bag.  Eric had to circle back around and come get it.  (So hair dryer, make up is still in Austin)  So I run to gate and the flight… is delayed due to maintenance issues.  So finally I make it on board and there is no heat.  then they serve drinks and about as soon as i have chugged down 1/2 can of sprite, the toilet has problems and THEY CLOSE THE BATHROOM. 

So anyway, I slept most of the flight cold, uncomfortable and needing to pee.

So I did manage to make it home and blah blah.  went and got B&C from Rich.  he’s a good brother.  met me half way.

so now i’m home and missing eric.  it stinks to be here alone.  oh well.  it’s just the first day alone after being with him for 4 days.  I’ll be fine.

Cook was good today.  Yay Pony.  Besides the MOUND of dirt.  Dirt Pony.  what is wrong with her???  Why can’t she stay clean?

So today we continued our streak of “do nothing” during the day. This evening we went and had dinner with Eric’s good friends Mike and Jami. it was good. really cute baby, Addie. She was a pretty advanced 5 month old.

but now we’re home and I’m a lil on the sad side cause I know the next hours will not be happy. Hectic is about to come … I gotta get some sleep, go to the airport at 530am, catch a flight, land, get my jeep from the barn, shower, throw on work clothes, head to work, then go to barn after work… sigh… it’s already feeling overwhelming. Also to make matters worse, I have to fly back on a lil plane. like a tin can with popsicle sticks for wings. nice.

This went by too quick.
