I’m dreading being on a plane, doing customs and etc for 8 hours. boo!

My birthday is coming up (June 3rd Saturday). I am having dinner at Irregardless Cafe at 6pm(recommended by RD). Its’ an open invitation to my friends above 21 if you would like to come.

Boys, I really want u to be cute. A Tie would be cute. OK, at least a decent button up shirt. For Scott, at least a cleanish shirt. Scootie will be cute in anything.

Girls don’t have a dress code because girls are smart and if boys are wearing shirt and ties, then we will dress appropriately.

I want a quiet, low key dinner. Since it’s my last day of vacation, I doubt I will go out afterwards.

Please RSVP with me if you are coming. *No big deal, just looking for headcount to tell Irregardless. I imagine it will be 8 to 10 people.

went shopping at this flea market type place but didnt’ really see anything of interest.

other than that, just relaxed.

I’m a lil worked up cause I can’t call home. Calling is difficult here and I feel weird not being able to check my voicemail. I have managed to sign onto AIM, but I’m not even sure if my mom knows my yahoo email. ugh. I should have been better prepared.

Anyway, only one more day here so things will be fine.

Today we got up, went to breakfast. The food is good here, but not fantastically great for someone as picky as I am. This actually might be a blessing in disguise cause that way I don’t come back 15 pounds heavier than I left from over eating. Especially since I will prolly be laying around alot.

Went to the pool and swam, had lunch.

Then, Eric and I went horseback riding. Mere had previously warned me to downplay any experience when going on adventures like this, otherwise they will give you Unbroken or BuckyBucksAlot. So I marked myself as Intermediate, what mean I have only ridden 25 to 50 times according to them. I thought I would have good funny stories about this trail ride except it was pretty un-eventful. Eric did well, considering he had only been on a horse a couple of times…. The cool part was that we got to ride the horse into the ocean while it was swimming. They make sort of a creepy noise, and I was worried about the leg up part bareback. But it wasn’t that bad.

So I didn’t embarass myself. It would have really sucked to have a TB at home and get thrown off of some horse in Mexico.

I miss Cook.

Scott took Eric and I to the airport at 7. *1st scary ride of the day.

1st thing was that Eric tells me as we are going down the hall to the plane, that it’s a little plane. Great. Love those. we have to WALK DOWN STAIRS, on the runaway, and then go up stairs into the plane. Not a fan of the little planes. I think those crash more. Anyway, we survived. 2nd scary ride of the day.

Flight was uneventful… until we got to Cancun. Apparently the RADAR system went out and we had to be waved in by hand. Now I don’t want to sound America centric, but this made me nervous. Especially when it took an extra hour of circling the runaway. Also, Cancun is no New York City… it’s mostly rural so I couldn’t even see the runaway so our descent made it look like we were clipping power lines and gonna land in Farmer Juan’s backyard. 3rd scary ride of the day.

The van from the airport to the resort … 4th scary ride. The guy drove really really fast. Apparently there are no speed limits in Mexico. either that or speeding tickets are really cheap.

So we are here and I’m using the hotel internet to pass the time until dinner. This place is super, really really nice. way nice. I can’t even describe. It’s definitely top of the line. It’s been quiet thus far since we have been traveling all day.

So on to dinner….

Had a busy, busy day today.

I went to see Cook in the pasture. I didn’t ride cause I didn’t have time. I hope she does ok.

I’m gone on vacation, but will prolly keep blogging cause I will have internet access. So comment and email me at yahoo (email as my AIM and yahoo ID name).

I was busy at work all day today, then I went out to the barn to ride Cook with Jen and Patti.

Non eventful. Cook was great. as usual. flatted mostly. no complaints. all is well.

I need to go to the mall and get some shorts and capri’s but I’m tired and wearing out fast. Dunno if that is happening tonight.

I did watch Lost season finale last night and all I have to say is Thank God they actually advanced the plot and answered some questions. Perhaps the reduced viewership forced the writers to have a -point- to this show. It was the first watchable episode since March. I would give this show up, but I’m already invested. Don’t u hate that?
