Sunday / Monday - Labor of Love Horse Show
I groomed at my first “breed” show today. Holy smokes.
Basically to sum it up for the non horse people, it was all
baby horses.
Baby horses = Crazy
My adrenaline was sky high all day because when you’re dealing
with babies, you have to be on “high alert” all the time. They
don’t lead very well and when things either don’t go their way or
they get scared, then they have a tendency to freak out. They grow
fast as babies, and they have enough strength to drag you around at
birth. So I tried to help out, (or hang on, depending on the situation)
with the kiddies.
We took 3 - Baby Belle, Mr Belle and Derby. They were all wayyyyy
cute, all braided up.

Rachel stayed the weekend with me. She’s funny. She told me that one
of the perks of staying with me is that I (we) get to eat out all the
time. I said that’s because you have what’s called “family” and I have
what’s called “McDonald’s Dollar Value Menu”.

Cook is head bobbing, buckling lame. Loren, my farrier, is coming out
tomorrow to hoof test her for an abscess. If nothing is there, I am
gonna call the vet.
