An ex un-expectedly came back into my life tonight.

Random.

I was heading home from the barn when I get a call from un-known number.  Check the message - its my ex.  I called him back, we chatted for a few.  He called me back a few minutes later and decided to head over.  We spent the evening together, catching up on old times and watching the NBA games.

It was good.  Interesting.

It was nice to be familiar with someone and comfortable.  He told me that he could smell me and that I still smelled the same after all these years.  I think that’s funny because I have said many times about being attracted to someone’s smell.

I told him that I am damaged right now and am not interested in pursuing a relationship.   He said we could just hang out, go out.  I’m cool with that.  We’ll see.

But if I die tonight at least I can say I did what I wanted to do

I am taking the morning off to putter around here, get some house stuff done, get some billing done, and to generally just take it easy.  I have a list of horses that I have to lunge and a list of horses I have to doctor.   Planning to go in at 10 and leave by 2.

have a cold so not feeling my best.  Sort of drowsy and headed clouded all the time.

Boys are leaving to go to a clinic so my days over the next week will be shorter.  Its’ a good thing too.  really need the downtime.

I’m free to go to dinner and lunch at normal times the next two days if anyone is interested.

worked all day.  have allergy/sinus infection/head cold.  feel terrible.

I actually took a nap, sadly, on the floor of the lounge, using a blanket from Howard.

Sat on a horse… my nose was dripping horribly…. couldn’t do anything about it, so snot was running down my face.  Just kept riding.

how gross is that?

worked horses all day.

had a friend staying over, so went out downtown.  Theresa came out.  It was fun. I think the highlight of the evening was when my “friends” tried to set me with a weirdo by telling him I hadn’t had a date in 6 months.

So the last 3 guys that have liked me.

1- Homeless guy who asked B for money at the Carolina Horse Park.

2 - Mentally challenged guy at horse show.

3- Guy wearing the same hat as Aladdin.

I planned to come home early in order to get things done around the house before my room-mate decided to either murder me or move out - either of which she would have been completely justifiable.

However, didn’t get out until late again.

I’m boring right now.  Nothing new going on.
