215 - Friday
CDI in raleigh going well. Scores were decent, can’t complain. I braided a ton today… horses were cooperate. I really love braiding. I love making the braids small and neat and perfect. Appeals to some OCD part of my nature.

I get to take a privately owned horse to my first dressage show in a couple of weeks. SOOOOO excited. He is one of my favorites at the barn. The owner is completely awesome, and is so excited for me to show him. She has told everyone how I am taking her horse to show in my first test and etc. BUT what was really awesome today, was that another owner heard and asked why I didn’t take HER horse. AWWWWW!!!! Two offers!! yay. I love both horses - and their owners know it… but that made me feel good.
216 - thursday
3 days back from kentucky and we are at another CDI. Luckily it is local here in Raleigh but still. A show is a show. The clients for this show are awesome and independent so we have lots of help and little complaining.
Always a bonus.
Gonna make this short so I can clean up a little and get some stuff done around the house.
more pics
Cigar the famous racehorse was stabled across from our barn.
Cigar, born April 18, 1990 at Country Life Farm near Bel Air, Maryland, is a Hall of Fame thoroughbred racehorse who in 1995 and 1996 became the first American racehorse racing against top-class competition to win 16 races in a row since the Triple Crown winner Citation did it in 1948 and 1950. He is also the all time leading money earner among North American thoroughbreds, with almost $10 million in career earnings.
Here is a pic I snapped.
J gave us a tour of the cross country course… (J did Rolex twice).
crazy!
217 - favorite picture from kentucky
This was snapped by an awesome owner, Shirley, after Rhett and J scored a 71 in Rhett’s 1st PSG test ever. I like it ’cause we were both grinning like idiots when he came out.
