Why do we take for granted those closest to us?  Why do we abuse the people who are always there for us, do everything for us?

I was gonna make this gender-specific but I won’t.

Sometimes people are nicer to total strangers and casual friends than they are to signficant others.

It drives me a little crazy because even when I’m tired and cranky or sick… usually my mood is consistent.

What gives?

Went out to barn with roommate.  She got to ride Elvis.  She did well.  I hopped on Elvis and cantered him around a little bit - which was a little bit of a mistake because I was wearing shorts and no half chaps.  I have saddle burns.

Ami did well outside with no ace.  He flipped out at the end a little… I think over the bugs.  So I got him a fly sheet today.  I hope it fits.

whew!   I got to take a half day today so that was awesome.  I came home and passed out - the last few days caught up with me.  I laid down and napped for four hours.  Now I have to get up, get motivated and clean up my house.  Its more than your typical clean-up, I need to do the spring cleaning that I didn’t do - summer cleaning!

good day today. long… but good. Had good rides today, good lessons.

Gonna be able to take some time off tomorrow and on saturday. Won’t that be awesome!?  not sure what I am gonna do about Ami’s turn -out…

He is getting turned out now in a ‘rehab’ paddock built in his honor.  :-)  Aaron, the farm owner, built him a little paddock, like 18ft by 24ft so he can beside the ring… so he can be under the shade and watch his momma ride.  He can also play with the babies on the other side of the fence.  He’s soooooooooo much happier………

I watched perhaps, the most pointless movie ever.
