ami’s wound is looking better.

I made him take a bath today.  He wasn’t a happy camper.  There is no excuse to be Pig Pen though.

a couple of things happened in the past day…  I was looking for a picture unrelated and I found Cook’s last video I took of her playing in the water.

I was chatting with Loren (Ami and Cook’s farrier) and was telling him about the year anniversary is coming up - can it possibly be a year since I lost her?  Geezus, time flies.  He said that he was surprised too.  We talked about people who want me to move on… he said its’ funny ’cause he knows me… but not as close as my ‘friends’ should know… and he knows better than to tell me to move on.  He told me that he would never ‘go there’ with that.

Some people aren’t as smart.

So I’m hanging in there but each day it gets …. harder.   I have to decide what to do for the holidays.

called fernando and started ami on a round of antibotics.

it still looks terrible.

ami foot isn’t doing that well.  It bled alot today.

still trying to recover from the horse show from the past weekend, rode and finished up some paperwork I have been working on for a while.

Got everything done.

Fernando looked at Ami again.  Not bad news, but not good news.  Needs more time to heal.  Gonna be another week.

Meanwhile here is his newest present.

I am so tired….  cant wait to get home and get to bed!

J did well today.  Show non eventful.  No pictures because my camera was dead.

went to show in lexington, VA for BLM Championships.  Travel day was today.  Got there safe and sound.
